Sand washing machines are used to clean materials such as sand, silt, and weathered sand, all of which contain various impurities, rock fragments, and other harmful substances. Given the environmental implications of the washing process, the discharge from the sand washer should be directed into a sedimentation tank; this facilitates water resource recovery and plays a significant role in environmental protection and water conservation. Sedimentation systems typically employ a multi-stage settling design (often involving three parallel connected tanks). While the manufacturer supplies the sand washing machine and provides technical guidance, the customer is responsible for the civil engineering and construction of the tanks. Utilizing sedimentation tanks for water recovery is essential for environmental protection; for operations with abundant water resources, large settling pools or reservoirs are suitable options, particularly for large-scale equipment. Therefore, we recommend that customers use a circulating water system for washing, and we provide sedimentation technology support free of charge.
