The necessity of installing overload protection device for roller crusher

Time: 2021-08-27

The main advantages of the roller crusher are: the roller crusher has simple structure, compact and light body, low price, reliable work, convenient adjustment and crushing, less over-crushing during crushing, and can crush sticky and wet materials.
When the roller crusher is working, due to the changes in the raw material conveying volume and possible foreign objects (such as iron, stones, etc.), the equipment may be overloaded and cause damage. Therefore, the equipment needs to be equipped with protective devices.
The overload protection device of the ordinary roller motorized roller adopts two spiral compression springs. The disadvantage of this kind of spring is that it has a large expansion range, easy to deform after repeated use, inaccurate positioning, and low roller pressure. If it encounters rocks with a Mohs hardness above 4 during the production process, it is difficult to break, and the expansion and contraction of the spring makes some The foreign matter that is not easily broken enters the next process together with the raw materials, which can easily cause damage to the equipment in the next process.
The GP80×60 type roller crusher adopts the compression amount of the disc spring on the moving roller to adjust the crushing force of the roller machine, and an overload protection block is added to the fixed roller to provide safety protection for the roller crusher. This not only increases the roller pressure, but more importantly, the gap between the rollers can be strictly controlled within the range of 2-10mm, which ensures the size of the blanking and improves the qualification rate of the green body.
During normal operation, the disc spring and the protection block are not moving. When foreign matter enters, the disc spring is first compressed, thereby increasing the gap between the two rollers and allowing the foreign matter to pass through. When foreign matter passes through, the force between the two rollers is greater than the load-bearing capacity of the disc spring. At this time, the protective block is broken under the action of shearing force, thereby increasing the gap between the discharge opening and smoothly removing the foreign matter, which protects the safety of the equipment. Pay attention to the wear of the roller crusher during production.
The GP80×60 type roller crusher is equipped with a limit switch on the gland on the side of the disc spring. When an abnormal situation occurs, the limit switch can be activated, and the equipment can be stopped through electrical control.
